Aanandita Bhatnagar

As the leader of communications for NetApp in India Aanandita is responsible for public relations, internal and social communications in India. As part of her role, she leads communication for the NetApp Startup accelerator program, the NetApp Excellerator. She also holds a global role with communications for the Data Fabric and Manageability Group in NetApp. She has spent 16 years in the industry creating compelling communications programs for large teams, predominantly at development centers of multinational organizations. Change communications and social media are her forte but her passion lies in building employee advocacy. Under her communications leadership, NetApp has moved to #7 at the Great Places to Work index in India.

Before joining NetApp, Aanandita was Director Corporate Communications at Texas Instruments India in a similar role. She was leading R&D communications for Cisco in India for nearly 6 years before joining Texas Instruments. She has held communications roles in companies like ANZ Banking and IT, Bharti Airtel, AXA Insurance globally and others. Aanandita is also an entrepreneur and co-founded a rural BPO, DigiPact that hires women in rural areas, and she continues to play the role of a mentor with it. Aanandita has been actively involved with diversity, social responsibility and startup communications at the organizations that she has worked for. She also an avid runner and participates in full marathons with her running group, Runners’ High.

Braj Kishore has over 21 years of enriched experience in Marketing and Communications across diverse sectors like Life Insurance, Retail Finance, Healthcare, Infrastructure, among others. He is an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, Australia and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. He is currently Head of Corporate Communication at Reliance Infrastructure.

At Reliance Infrastructure, he has strategically positioned the Company as one of the foremost infrastructure players in India.

Earlier at SBI Life, Braj created numerous TV, Print, FM and outdoor campaigns including ‘Are you a Great Dad?’ and has crafted a relevant campaign tagline ‘Zindagi Haske Bitayenge’. Through CSR, he is bringing meaningful difference to the society by contributing to Child Education and Child Healthcare. Prior to SBI Life, Braj was Group Head of Corporate Communication and Brand Management at Srei Group of Companies. He has also worked with Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon - the first flagship hospital from the promoters of Apollo Tyres group, DHFL and HUDCO.

Calvin Printer is Vice President and Head of Corporate Communication & Brand for Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, an India based global generics drug manufacturer. Calvin is a communications leader who combines functional expertise with deep understanding of business success. Over a career spanning twenty five years of multicultural experience across diverse industries, he has been accountable for creating and building corporate and product brand value across geographies, in organisations facing exponential growth, turnarounds, as well as startups.

With strategic brand and communications expertise as his forte, his professional tenure spans a range of business domains including pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, FMCG and ITES. He has successfully led organisations through the various phases of their brand journey.

Previously, Calvin was Head of Communication for India & Emerging Markets at Mylan India, the world’s third largest generics drug manufacturer. Prior to that he has led Marketing and Corporate Communications for India & Asia Pacific at Kennametal India, a leading industrial MNC, and assumed responsibility for Customer Communications at Metro. Cash & Carry India Limited, India’s leading business-to-business wholesaler.

A graduate from Bangalore University, Calvin is a Lean green belt, and a certified Six Sigma professional. He has also completed a professional course in strategic communications from Salford University, UK.

Prior to joining Aviva, Jayaram has worked with Fortune 100 companies and multinational conglomerates like Avon Beauty Products & Hinduja Group, where he was responsible for maintaining a positive reputation of the company with stakeholders. He has been the company representative for interactions with govt officials, industry bodies and media. He is currently working in a leadership role at the USD 2 billion diversified Indian conglomerate, Max India Group. He was previously with Microsoft India, managing product advocacy and communications. In the past, he has also been in a consulting role, as a part of various communication agencies - advising leading brands across verticals such as Technology, Consumer Products, Financial Services, Healthcare.

He specializes in building and maintaining corporate reputation and building engagement and trust with influencers. A continuous learner by disposition, he is currently focused on gaining expertise in effective use of social media for building corporate reputation. Nitin is married and has a 10 year old daughter. He is currently based in New Delhi.

Rachana Panda

Rachana Panda is the Chief Communications Officer & Citizenship Leader at GE South Asia. She joined GE in 2012. At GE, Rachana is part of the leadership team where her role is to lead & champion the communications function; and nurture corporate reputation of GE. Her role comprises advising the Leadership team on all facets of communications, which includes employee engagement and external communications. She also leads the Brand, Advertising & Digital communications team for this region.

Rachana is also responsible for the Citizenship program where her role is to strategize the CSR program for the company. Rachana is a member of the National Advisory Committee for CSR for Indian industry. She believes it is key to plan the future course of CSR, not just within the company, but also drive a movement that supports inclusive growth pertaining to women empowerment.

Rachana completed her Master’s in Business Management from International Management Institute. She started her career as a Management Trainee in Apollo Tyres. She headed the communications team for the region of Alcatel and UTStarcom at a time when telecom revolution was at its peak. Rachana was the Director of Communications for the French multinational Alstom in India before GE. She has extensively worked on sustainable development projects for the British Council in India. Swetank has a rich experience of working across diverse functions such as journalism, Strategic Communications, Customer Experience and Human Resources. He has been with Future Group for around 8 years and has played a key role in consolidating external, internal and digital communications for all the companies of the group. He has also created a mechanism and manages the Online Reputation for the Group.

As an additional responsibility Swetank spearheads the People Office for the Future Group as well. He has been working on creating new-age People Policies and building an organisation design that is aligned to the ambitious growth plans of the Group.

Swetank is also part of the core strategy team of Future Group and works with the Customer Experience team as Chief Customer Officer. In this role, he has been designing a unique way of customer experience based on Group’s Core Values.
